trees are amazing. slowly, constantly they grow. in the slowest motion they overcome the force of gravity and rise up... to the light.

from young age society teaches us that it is selfish to think about yourself before others, and labels it as a bad thing. i know that happened to me. common beliefs can be ugly.

it is much more selfish to feel unhappy, to feel constant negativity inside, and not to do anything about it because you are thinking of others and not yourself. it is selfish not to deal with your inner problems, to be absorbed in them not having free attention for people around you. it is selfish not to make yourself joyful, and not to be able to spread this joy to others. this is what’s selfish.

a bad mood, a rude word, no smile on your face can seem nothing to you. but this things are sticky, and people around you will catch them. your negativity: is this really what you would like to give to other people? stop being selfish! deal with what’s inside you. face it. your inner state is your responsibility, it is your main responsibility!

it’s inhuman not to deal with your negative inner state. it brings pain not to have any attention for the person next to you. it is a crime not to have any attention for your child. children don’t need our teachings, they don’t need our experience. this things they can get themselves. what they need is our presence. what they need is us hearing what they say.

i hope there will be more and more people that are like trees. people who can grow through the gravity of social conditioning, grow peacefully, organically... to the light.
